Utility unveils new names and logos for core products and introduces a new product as part of its continued growth
ATLANTA (May 12, 2022) – Utility, the technology provider recognized for creating groundbreaking digital systems for frontline professions, today announced a comprehensive rebranding effort to complement the company’s accelerated growth. At the forefront of this brand evolution is the name change of three core Utility technologies to align the company’s expansive—and growing—universe of innovative products and operating systems.
eos by Utility™
BodyWorn by Utility ushered in a new dawn for digital video surveillance as the only body-worn camera system that facilitates policy-based, high-speed data collection to deliver instant, clear and secure intelligence. Now, the body-worn camera has been given a new name to match its luminary qualities—eos. Inspired by the personification of the start of day in Greek mythology, eos is the catalyst for Utility’s expanded universe of transformational technologies.
Polaris by Utility™
Formerly known as AVaiLWEB, Polaris is a powerful, cloud-based digital evidence platform that offers users a wide range of features and case management capabilities. Designed to enable agencies to gather disparate digital evidence into one unified view, the updated Polaris platform expands the types of data that can be uploaded and displayed to users with capability to manage video, audio, documents, photos, metadata, phone data, security camera footage and more. Polaris references the North Star, which has long been used for guidance in the night sky. As a seamless, all-in-one evidence management system, Polaris guides Utility customers with total transparency and sets a new standard for tracking and backing up the truth.
Rocket by Utility ™
RocketIoT is now Rocket. Just as its name implies, Rocket by Utility is a state-of-the-art, in-car communication platform that takes situational awareness to a whole new level. With multi-dimensional capabilities and secure evidence-gathering automation, the Rocket delivers comprehensive, time-saving intelligence.
These news names are accompanied by reimagined branding, with each mark capturing the notion of the interconnected capabilities of the company’s universe of products along with celestial elements to represent the names, which are inspired by space and innovation.
“This new positioning underscores our growing position in the market,” said Michael Nark, President and Chief Executive Officer of Utility. “We believe this evolution is the natural next step in furthering our focus on transformative transparency, and we look forward to continuing to build on our core offerings with new features, functions and products to support the digital transformation that is underway within the law enforcement industry.”
In addition to the brand evolution, the company introduced this week its newest offering—Helios by Utility ™—a central evidence management platform created for district attorneys’ offices, giving them the power to organize files from multiple agencies into one unified view. The SAAS-based DEMS sheds light on all aspects of case management, allowing law enforcement to collaborate quickly, securely and efficiently with the justice system to bring speed and transparency to the legal process.
Utility concluded its 2021 fiscal year with annual bookings of $60 million, and the company is on-pace to see continued growth in 2022, having announced a record-level $35 million in Q1 2022, along with a 40% increase in revenue from Q1 2021 to Q1 2022.
