Headquartered in Tucker, Ga., Utility is a developer, manufacturer, and provider of mobile resource management and situational awareness solutions. Utility's mobile communications hardware is manufactured in the USA, and Utility is committed to US-based hardware manufacturing and software development and support.  Meet the team behind the company.

 

  

Robert McKeeman, Chairman

 

As Chairman of the Board, Robert McKeeman brings more than 30 years of financial and utility industry experience to Utility. In addition to his Chairman duties, McKeeman serves as CEO and leads the company’s marketing and Federal government sales initiatives. He co-founded Utility in 2000 after a successful career in Andersen Consulting’s utility and financial services practices, serving as CIO of Equitable Agri-Business (a $2 billion asset agricultural mortgage service provider), and as a partner in Cumberland Consulting Group. He also served as a Research Fellow and faculty member in the Information Systems Research Center at the University of North Texas.  McKeeman‘s IT, cybersecurity, and project management consulting clients include AFNI, Atlanta Gas Light, Bank of America, Consumers Energy, US Department of Veterans Affairs, and West Corporation.

 

McKeeman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
     

 

Ted Davis, President

 

Ted Davis is the President and Chief Technology Officer of Utility, and co-founded the company in 2000. Davis has a lengthy career in software and hardware technology development, and was previously the Chief Technology Officer for PAD Systems, Utility’s predecessor company.  At PAD Systems, Davis led the design and implementation of the PADWorks product line at Consumers Energy and Allegheny Power.  At Utility he leads the design and development of the AVaiL software as a service product lines for the Utility and First Responder markets, the design and manufacturing of the Rocket family of vehicle communications hardware, and overall business operations.

 

Davis spent seven years in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and T-38 instructor pilot, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
     

 

Jason Blair, Vice President and CFO

 

As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jason Blair leads the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and Administration functions for Utility. Blair is a senior financial executive with 15+ years experience providing financial, operational and managerial expertise for small to mid-sized organizations. Blair started his career in commercial banking and has served as Finance Director and Controller for companies in multiple industry sectors including marketing services, technology and manufacturing. He has experience in a broad range of finance and accounting disciplines including implementation of financial controls, securing of working capital and term financing from banks, acquisition and sale due diligence, tax planning and Human Resource management.

 

Blair holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Kentucky.
     

 

Anthony Baldoni, Vice President of Corporate Operations

 

As Vice President of Corporate Operations, Anthony Baldoni's focus is on support and implementation. Baldoni's focus is on supporting existing customers and managing our growing installation efforts. He has nine years of experience in the utility and mobile communications industries, and twelve years of experience in customer service operations.

 

Baldoni served in the U.S. Army in the US and South Korea, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis.
     

 

Criss Cross, Vice President of Sales and Business Development

 

As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Criss will manage our direct sales force nationwide. In addition, she will continue to focus on growing and cultivating our channel partnerships and strategic alliances with distributors and resellers. Prior to joining Utility in 2009 as the Director of Sales in the Southeast, Criss served as the Vice President of the Government Furnishings Sales division of Atlanta based Aaron’s. With 15 years of outside sales and management experience for Fortune 250 companies both in the commercial and government verticals; Criss is responsible for sales strategy development, management of sales activity, corporate marketing and branding efforts, and the negotiation of procurement contract vehicles.

 

Criss attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville TN, and holds a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, NY.
